Check out this Bike, i wonder if the engine could be adapted to an Outboard
Here's a turbo hayabusa, putting out like 500 hp, wonder if the engine could be adapted to an outboard, i guess it puts out like 265 ft/pounds of torque.
But I bet the question is what does it produce down low?

No Ami he did not... it was from 50-140!!!
We gotta spankin new 06 V-Max at work and I have been kiddin em sayin I was gonna buy it and put that 350hp turbo with twin coolers on it, looks like it would be all for naught with landlocked missles like this thing prowling the street.
Did he hit the "wall" with that boosy? By the speedo he is pegged at what 210-215 and once he gets off of it it comes quickly off that "peg". Without knowing how much he was on the brakes I would guess he was doing in the 220-230ish range. Is there an aerodynamic wall that the boosy can't punch through no matter what the power?

If you look close he shifts @ 220 +10000 rpms. The speedo is pegged. But that is 22mph/1000rpms. He then continues on to 11000 rpms which is 242mph.
That is how the gearing works out... if that is really how fast the bike is going

Remember, bike speedos are a little happy, just like bass boat speedos. I would have to see the gps on a top speed bike run to give it any credibility.

Those turbo 'Busas are nutty, I've seen them pick up 45MPH in the back 1/2 of the quarter mile. High 7's @ 180+ on a D.O.T. tire.

The top RPM was rougly 11,1-11,2" and the speedo didn't budge, was still pegged until the tach swept back too 10K. I just can't believe the damn thing accelerated so quickly. It just pegged the needle in a blink and that was that. So again, does the bike have an aerodynamic wall speed?
What does that figure out too?

I have to say no way my BS detector is in the red. The bike is fast but the speedo is way off. Watch the video during decel and at 110mph he goes by a cross street and burnout tracks on the road. There is no way he is doing 110 as the video will show. If he was at 110 the side street and tire marks would have been by in a split second.
My waverunner runs high 90mph on the speedo and 70.4 on GPS.
On another note that Supra is gettin it.

Kilometers!!!!!!!!
Hey guys, listen to JW. It is in "KILOMETERS". Look at the inside numbers. They are MPH. 100 kmh is only 60 mph.

You are wrong. Just under the outter 70 is 110 on the inner. 62 MPH is 100 KM/H 110 KPH is 68.2 MPH so that 110 is right where it belongs on the inner circle with the rest of the Kilo numbers. It is very clear. You can also see the 300+ numbers (over 186 MPH)
I am not saying the bike is going what the speedo says it is just saying that the Large Numbers are miles/hour.

I am wrong
I just looked at it again real close and it appears to have the larger numbers on the inside. It still doesn't look like 230+ in the background. I've run 160 on my GSXR and looked alot faster than that.
