Yes I am ,sorry it concerns you so much,If you don't like, don't buy one,never needed to twist anyones arm to get them to buy in the past,and sure I won't now! I only build new molds when enought of my customers request that I build something new,I have 5 customers waiting to get a new 24' or25' lightning cat and I will take care of them soon ! would you be interested in a boat of a totaly new design ,on the cutting edge? ....because I have an Idea. let all give Mr. Christensen $100 each and when he has about $50000 to start with I will bet he can come up with a winner of a boat that is not a [pop slash copy clone stolen ]. Iwill write the first check to john . Who will join me. I bet he can come up with a great boat. And a purest should buy the first one to show his support of originality...Do I write the check to Ted Or John ?

greg , uncool dude , you shouldnt be ragging on someone trying to help people on this board and all boat lovers have an affordable alternative to the big wig boats , i have a skater and if i knew john had the prices he has before i spent so much on mine i would have been one of his customers! plus he has helped me find some much needed parts to rig my boat for twins, hes a great guy and will lend a helping hand to anyone in need he has spent his own dollar on the phone calling me with answers to my questions , stop barking and lets get back to boating , serious boating anyway!

I am not talking down his personality. John Ted or what ever his name is may very well be a great guy and a big help to you. For that i would commend him. He states that he has made plugs and molds before and it's not that hard OK do it don't steal some one elses design. The boating world would be better off with a reasonably priced alternative to the high price boats if it was a new and innovative design more than just a cheap copy of the original. Ted or john what ever you want to be called make a new boat in the range you have orders for don't copy one then take it to some of the performance trails and make a name for yourself. You will have a lot more customers and repete buyers with something that is new and original. Rus i would send him more than $100 if there was a reasonable return on my investment come up with a new design show it will sell (with preorders and lets build some thing I am always in the market to make money show me something. I am wanting something in the 22-23 ft range make something in that range that is new and will perform with twins on it if the quailty is there I would be first in line. Copy someone elses old design and I look somewhere else. Make it new and boating and lightning boats will both benifit

TO Mr Greg Moss Not worth my time to build my own plugs any more,my customers want a new 24 skater,can you tell them where they might get one,peter at skater dosen't want to build them,they don't want to go to TX and get a liberator,not cause theres any thing wrong with it,Im sure there a good boat,they just so happen to be good customers of mine and have had very good success with the boats I have all ready built them,by the way ,I did my math and 87% of my customers have bought more than one boat from me,37% have owned three or more,and my best customer just picked up his new 21 mini offshore cat and it was his 9th boat,Im delivering a 1999 21 cat to a Doctor in St Pete tomorrow,and its his 4th boat,so im sorry I can't please everybody ,and as far as you wanting a 22-23' all new super fast great handeling boat,I guess you whon't be boating anytime soon if your waiting for me to build it !But if your looking for a good built boat (NOT THE BEST IN THE WORLD),but as good as what the purist in this sport think is,Let me asure you Lightning Power Boats will have a new 24' cat, and don't be suprised if it looks (JUST like a 24' skater) but will be a little faster and handle a little better,just as my 21' mini offshore dose now,Im not trying to Invent the mouse trap,just make it better! true very true , the 21 and 24 are extinct , most of peters focus is on the new 32 and the ever more popular 28 so you probably wont be seeing a 24 or 21 ever again , i have a few guys wanting a 24 skater so we will be talking soon about that.
