I'm not real sure of the $ amount. My friend bought a used boat for 2800.oo and the motor let go. Every thing I have found has been 1000.00 to 1500.00. Let me know what you want for your motor. Tell me a little about your motor, Where are you at? I am in Georgia.

I just checked, and this is an 83 motor. It needs boring and 4 pistons, and should get carb kits, water pump etc. It was on a boat my brother bought, and it was supposed to run, but never did. They had put a 20" motor on a 25" boat, and it looks like it had been run hot a quite a bit. I sold him an '89 GT150, and a setback bracket, and took this motor in on trade. If you want it as is, 500.00. If you want it running and fresh, somewhere between 1.5K and 2K. I would probably go ahead and break it in too.
