Foaming a transom

What are the pros and cons of foaming a transom vs wood?Who is the best guy to talk to about foaming a transom

There is transom cast which is a ploy based. I went to
www.fgci.com they make similar product but it is EPOXY !

I used ply on both sides and silled the hollow between the two sheets...SOLID SOLID SOLID, B Leonard was over tonight to look at it. He will give you an un biased opinion. IT WORKS !

You cant realy use foam in a trasom i.e kleg 75 , 55 it is strong but has no compression resistance. So puttin them bolts through the transom when ya tighten down will cause cracks and ...we all know thats nada gooda
