What Outboard oil do you use? I thought it interesting to see what the majority of us are running in our outboards. Theres an other option because there are obviously to many brands to poll. I just listed the ones that seem to pop up the most. thanks James

Run Klotz r33 right now but will be switching to Alisyn Soon :)
Klotz should have been included in the poll, seems pretty popular. Smells nice too. I use Alisyn in mine.

Klotz should have been included in the poll, seems pretty popular. Smells nice too. I use Alisyn in mine.
Ha! Pyro sorry about that.;) I know a guy who had to switch from klotz because that smell reminded him of McDonalds to much he got supersized!:D Your right I should have had it in there. I like the Alysn since switching from Merc.

Amsoil. They manufacture several types of 2-cycle mix specifically formulated for the equipment you are using. I've had great luck with it over the last 26 years I've been using it.

Started with the 5 gallons Merc premium plus I bought from Balzy.On my third gallon of penzoil now,that got me to the end of this season.Now they keep raising the price on Penzoil ,aint that far priced from Alisyn with the discount for being a member on here so,Next year im savin some cash and listening to the pro's and Im going to use Alisyn. :thumbsup:

I use Yamalube in my bikes and use Valvaline in my merc.:confused: I really think they are all the same. I dont know but I can say that I use anything that says 2 stroke oil in my 1986 3 wheeler and it has never blown up.:thumbsup:
Got to love the honda 2-stroke.:cheers:

Mercury built the engine I figure they have a pretty good idea what type of lubrication it needs. MERCURY oil the cheap stuff from Walmart.
